Hi everyone, I’m writing this on behalf of Fiona Robins (Adam’s Godmother), as Fiona also passed away recently.
Fiona would have been devastated to hear the news about Adam, and heartbroken about the hole left in his family’s lives. Fiona tried for children for 10 years before having twins, she would have understood the unparalleled love you will have for your children and the immense grief as your life changes course. It’s for this reason my heart goes out especially to Annette, as I know the lengths Fiona would have gone to to comfort you. 
I met Adam at Fiona’s 40th birthday party, white water rafting with friends. The kids (myself included) were too young for the rafting so we sat on the steps and watched. Adam was a few years younger than me, so I was asked to watch him. I remember how white his hair was, and how happy he was to sit with us. I am sad I didn’t get to meet him again, it’s clear from all the messages that he was very special.
