Dedicated to the memory of Adam Stimpson

In loving memory of Adam Stimpson. He is a much-loved son to Garry and Annette and brother to Ben, Debra and Donna. He will always be remembered by his family, many local friends, and friends from Swansea University where he was studying Aerospace Engineering.

Adam was diagnosed in December 2022 with Brain Cancer. Devastatingly, Adam lost the fight against this cruel disease, he died peacefully on Wednesday 17th May 2023.

The family would love you to share any tributes, photos, and memories that you have of Adam, so that they can compile a book of memories for them to keep. This page will also be a place for everyone to reflect and remember Adam not just now but in months and years to come.

You can do this by scrolling down and clicking on one of the buttons below. Thank you.

Thoughts

Growing up Adam was one of my closest friends, I would spend as much time at his house as my own. I have so many memories like setting up the worlds largest GoGo battle, or spending hours on the trampoline trying to land a flip. Most of all I remember sitting down and with Adam and enjoying Garry’s famous chicken rice and peas with soy sauce. I was gutted to find out what had happened and even more upset that we never got back in touch. I will never forget the happy times we shared together.

We weren't prepared for you to go Taken away from us so soon Wishing to not just see you in photos But to feel your warmth fill a room How much we'll miss your smile And your laughter in our ears Your absence leaves a hole in us Were filling with our tears You taught us how to be our best To live in the moment To never hold a grudge for long and a great pool opponent Your presence was a light for all We never realized would someday end Just like the stars you loved It’s funny how they shine brighter now you’re with them And though we cannot understand The reasons you’re not with us now Well do our best to accept this loss To carry on somehow.. The everlasting memories Especially you at your best Have us smiling through our falling tears Counting our time with you quite blessed We will remember you forever In the hearts of those you touched
for no love is ever lost
and you was loved so so much. Funeral poem by Elisha

A sad but beautiful day yesterday. You did Adam proud Annette and Garry. As we walked to the church from the Post and Wicket car Park, many memories flooded back, Adam and his friends playing cricket and football on the field, playing in the little park after school and even in the garden at the George. The number of friends at the service was a reflection of the lovely boy Adam was, the many interests he had and the full, varied and happy life that he led.
